Get Organized :: Build a Site Map

A site map is a visual representation of the organizational structure of your site's content. In a book, you have the name of the book, chapters, subchapters and paragraphs, wheras in a website you have the name of the website, your main navigation, secondary navigation, tertiary navigation and so on.

Using our website as an example, the name of the site is UnlimitedFOCUS, the main navigation is

  • Who We Are
  • What We Do
  • Get the Ball Rolling
  • Contact UF
  • Client Area

The secondary navigation under Get the Ball Rolling is

  • The Process
  • Request A Quote
  • Our Policies
  • Build a Site Map

We do not have tertiary navigation under Get the Ball Rolling.

To help us design your site with your organizational structure, it is important for you to provide us with a site map. One of the easiest ways to generate a site map is by making an outline. Click here to see an example of a site map in outline form. Please feel free to save this to your computer where you can use it as a jumping off point for your own sitemap. When you have completed your sitemap, e-mail it back to us.
